WHAT IS A HEAD SPA
A head spa is basically a luxury scalp + hair treatment that mixes deep cleansing, massage, hydration, and relaxation all in one service. Think of it as a facial… but for your scalp (and honestly, your nervous system too).
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our head spas include:

A scalp analysis with high powered microscope (checking buildup, dryness, oil, etc)
We let you see the before and afters!

A deep cleanse + exfoliation using multiple tools and techniques (removes product, oil, flakes)

Massage (hello stress relief)

Treatment masks/ serums (for hydration, growth, repair)

Steam therapy (key for absorption and relaxation)

Steam actually treats the hair and scalp- it doesn't just look nice.
Steam:

Open the hair cuticle and softens scalp

Breaks down buildup so it can be properly removed

Helps hydrate from the inside out.
It is doing the real work, not just sitting on top of the hair. Plus, it is like a warm hug in conjunction with a heated bed and weighted blanket you will experience in our treatment room.

But it doesn't open the cuticle like steam. It doesn't help products penetrate deeply. It is more of a sensory experience rather than treatment focused.
Many head spa bowls recycle water- which we find gross.

WE SUGGEST RESERVING A SCALP SERVICE...
Reserving a head spa every 8 weeks for maintenance.
(quarterly at best)
If you have extensions, you must schedule a head spa after removal and before reinsall.
Chemical services should be done one week before or after to protect scalp.
Self Care is not an expense... It is an investment
