Since the 3rd grade, Amanda has always loved the beauty industry and knew one day; she would have a successful career making people look and feel good. She has now spent nearly two decades within the industry. She has loved every minute of it and has no desire to give it up anytime soon. (You can relax now.)

She pushes herself never to stop learning and perfecting her skill set as an artist and stylist. The beauty industry is forever evolving. She does not believe in being stagnant. Standing still does not promote growth. She thrives in the creative and also has a keen for fashion. Amanda is a published hair and makeup artist and a model in international Pittsburgh fashion shows. She was nominated for "Most Individual Style" during Pittsburgh Fashion Week.

Not only does she excel in her field, but she has a deep desire to provide more for her guests and community. She lives for making even the slightest difference by living by LIVE SALON's motto. She was featured by an international brand, #girlboss determination, and philanthropic beliefs. Amanda can accommodate guests and make them feel comfortable, cherished, and empowered. She exudes authenticity, and it flows freely in her leadership and mentorship. She paves the way for her guests and staff to reach their goals and aspirations and never stops dreaming bigger.

Amanda is down-to-earth, tell-it-how-it-is, and an open book. Her personality can make anyone feel comfortable. She has a mission to constantly better herself and help others find their true, authentic selves and what they are passionate about. She is an avid self-help reader (You Are a Badass by Jennifer Sincero) and a believer in therapy. She writes about her trials and tribulations as a quintessential badass and warrior on her blog. Writing has always brought her immense joy. To be able to share her experiences and offer advice to allow people to feel not-so-alone is of utmost importance. Amanda has had a few dodgeballs thrown in her face, such as becoming a widow at 30, opening a salon with barely a penny to her name, and raising two nonbiological children. Yet, she has and will continue to show resiliency throughout this life's journey.

Amanda's sole purpose is to grow people and find what sets their souls on fire. She can provide the tools to learn the act of self-confidence, drive, success, and happiness. She does this with her two children (Ryleigh & Aiden), team, and guests. She dreams of leaving a legacy and a mark on as many people as possible. Again, her sole purpose is to grow people.

It started with creating external beauty and has evolved into promoting inner beauty, confidence, and love for herself, her family, staff, guests, and the community. She works with fellow women, beauty professionals, and people from all walks of life as a business and life coach to strengthen their businesses, relationships, confidence, and empowering mindset.
